Cover illustration and book design for The Pitchfork 500: Our Guide to the Greatest Songs from Punk to the Present by Scott Plagenhoff and Ryan Schreiber. Fireside Books, 208 pages.

Pitchfork's first book offers up their take on the 500 best songs of the past three decades. The book focuses on indie rock, hip-hop, electronic, pop, metal and experimental underground music. Representing the span of musical history of the book, the kaleidoscopic cover illustration includes images of old 45 rpm inserts, cassettes, boom boxes, CD players, headphones and ipods, etc.
