Logos & Identity
Funny Garbage Identity
Developed logo for the Funny Garbage comic zine in the late 1980's (pre-corporate Funny Garbage). Peter Girardi updated it in the late 1990's for the company.
For the website, the look captures the spirit of our unique take on humor and pop culture with a cross between comics, 1970's TV graphics and found elements. The site features handmade typography and flash animation. The background textures are colorful vibrant and abstract, allowing for the work to be featured. As always, we were seeking the balance between order and chaos.
The business cards had an adhesive layer which could be pulled and be used as a sticker. This adhesive layer was die cut into different shapes and the cards were numbered consecutively. To make this over-the-top business card, we worked with label making wizards General Trademark Labelcraft (Chris's father's label printing factory).
