Family Room Channel
Branding, Identity design, and mini-shows for Cablevisions Vroom HDTV network.
Family Room was to be a channel with a "for kids by kids" personality. Family Room's branding looks as though young people made it, so the design of everything from the logos and station I.D. to the mini-shows have this humorous, hand made, collage feel. The mini shows - Destructo Theater, React, Huh? And Macro Mini - each had their own branding and content. Destructo Theater is where various things are gloriously destroyed and reconstructed. Huh? features live on-the-street interviews that felt like kids made it. The designs are rooted in actual kid's art and objects from children's rooms.
