In April UNIQLO did this cool manga promotion in their Soho store. The display was an inspired graphic assault filling up the 2 story staircase in the back of the store. Different artists and era's of Japanese manga were represented on the walls and tee shirts. Individual pages and panels were enlarged, rotated and applied to the walls and floors. Smart choice to go with black & white - it created this beautiful texture of huge comic elements: brushstrokes, halftone dots and hand done lettering.
