I LOVE Pojdte Pane

In the 1960's, director Bretislav Poja and designer Miroslav Stepanek made a series of six heart-warming, inventive shorts called "Pojdte Pane' or "Hey Mister, Let's Play". Practically everything about this appropriately gentle, slow paced series is extremely inspiring- the hand lettered design of the titles, the mixture of hand crafted and real life objects, the Miro/Paul Klee backgrounds, character design, animation, hilarious voices, the anarchic slapstick stories...sheesh, everything. Here's a clip from "Jak Sli Spat", the 6th episode in the series:
