The first 2 images below are from a post titled: "Expressive Line and Shape Abstract Family Portrait High School Art". The caption for the post reads:

"The sophomores in Art Theory 1 had to draw in marker an abstract family portrait using only line, shape, and color. It took a little explaining to communicate exactly what they were doing, but once they got the hang of it, it came natural to them. My mother who is also an art educator had great success with this assignment when she taught Saturday art classes at juvenile hall. So I thought I would borrow it."
